Scotland's number one car firm will be the official supplier to the 2015 World Gymnastic Championships taking place in the SSE Hydro in Glasgow. As the official event supplier, Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental will provide a fleet of courtesy vehicles to event officials, dignitaries and athletes during the ten-day event this month.
A fleet of nine standard Group vehicles will be supplied to shuttle the gymnasts from the Athlete’s hotels to the competition venue, the SSE Hydro. During the event dignitaries and officials will be representing the World Championships at various appearances throughout the city. Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental will provide logistical support with two minibuses for the duration of the event.

Councillor Frank McAveety, Leader of Glasgow City Council, said: “Final preparations are now taking place ahead of the 2015 World Gymnastics Championships, with the world’s best gymnasts set to arrive in the city over the coming weeks. This partnership with Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental will help ensure that we keep the World Gymnastics Championships moving, which will be critical to the event’s success.”
The annual event sees over 600 of the best international athletes compete for a world title. Gymnasts from over 90 countries will be travelling to Glasgow for the ten-day championship event. From the 23rd – 26th of October athletes will compete in the qualifying rounds with the finals taking place between 27th October and 1st November.
