Venue Information
Food and Drink -
Food and plastic bottles of water and non-alcoholic drinks up to 500ml can be brought into the venue. Bottles above 500ml in capacity will not be permitted.
Within the SSE Hydro arena there is a selection of cuisines available in concessions along the ground floor of the Hydro. Take your pick from Scottish, American and Asian snack foods to take-away more information can be found here.
For something a bit more substantial visit the Clydebuilt Bar & Kitchen, located in the front of the SECC. Enjoy laid-back dining with a spectacular view of the Hydro for more information click here.
Photography - Professional cameras will not be permitted within the venue – only personal cameras. No flash photography is permitted at any point during the competition.
Disabled Access - A limited number of wheelchairs are available on site which can be borrowed by spectator for the duration of their visit. These will be allocated by the venue on a ‘first come first served bases. For more information please click here.
Disabled toilets are located on every level within the venue. Please speak to a member of staff or volunteer for information on the nearest disabled toilet.
Ticketing
All tickets & E-Tickets will be scanned on entry and valid for the relevant session only.
If you wish to leave during sessions, you must have your tickets ‘scanned out’ and back in again when you return.
This event is televised and as such the field of play layout will include equipment and infrastructure for recording.
Please be aware that Strobe lighting will be used during the pre-show activity of each session
Weather
Brace yourself for some unpredictable Scottish weather! There is a chance for rain all-year around – and even more so in October! Temperatures are low as winter kicks-in so don’t forget to bring plenty layers to wrap up warm and that all important umbrella and raincoat!

Credit and debit cards accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops. Some smaller shops and guesthouse accommodation may only accept cash.
At the SECC there is a free of charge ATM machine located within the SSE Hydro on the ground floor and in the main concourse within SECC beside the Box Office.

Glasgow's timezone is Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
Clocks Go Back – 25th October at 2am (GMT – 1). Make sure you change your clock to the right time to make sure you don’t miss any gymnastic action!
Smoking
Smoking is banned in all public places including all enclosed or partly enclosed public areas.
